Last week Octane Fitness attended International CES 2015 to showcase our newest iteration of the SmartLink; which now provides runners with advanced training options and more sophisticated workout tracking when used with Zero Runner and select Garmin Connect smartwatches.
Garmin Connect IQ
Utilizing Garmin Connect IQ technology, the first open platform offered by Garmin to allow third-party developers to create apps compatible with Garmin products, the SmartLink app will now enable runners with a premium smartwatch to track outdoor runs as well as indoor sessions on the Zero Runner.
During International CES 2015, Ray Maker, renowned blogger and trusted authority on fitness, running and triathlon technology, stopped by to see how we’ve been able to implement the Garmin Connect IQ technology. After seeing how SmartLink works bridge indoor and outdoor training runs, he featured the app in his Garmin Connect IQ post.
