Cross Training Made Simple

Most regular exercisers know the value of cross training. By varying your strength exercises, you can achieve greater success than repeating the same moves over and over again. However some less experienced exercisers don’t know where to begin when it comes to cross training.

 

Cross training is an important form of exercise because the body adapts over time to how you challenge it, if you perform the same workouts all the time, eventually you’re no longer making measurable progress but instead are simply maintaining fitness. While there is nothing wrong with repeating the same activities or keeping consistent with a familiar routine, if you want to benefit from fitness gains and superior health, you need to incorporate cross training.
