Company Again Wins Best Supplier and Top-Selling Elliptical
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – In the eighth Specialty News® (SNEWS) 2010 Fitness Retailer Survey, Octane Fitness, LLC (www.octanefitness.com) maintains an unprecedented track record, recently named the best supplier for the fourth consecutive year, and the top-selling brand of elliptical cross trainers for the sixth year in a row.

A weekly publication that covers the fitness and outdoor industries, SNEWS annually surveys specialty fitness retailers nationwide to provide unique insight into the state of the fitness equipment industry.
This year, Octane earned 27.4% of votes for the best supplier, a dominant majority among 14 fitness equipment companies named, and a significant leap from its 18.3% in 2009.
“Octane still dominates – fourth year in a row at the top and no signs of faltering,” surveyors noted. “The others’ losses are its gains.” In the competitive elliptical trainer category, Octane also gained even more votes this year, almost six percentage points ahead of the second-place winner among 21 brands listed by respondents.
